Karitane is a small town, thirty-five kilometres north of Dunedin. This delightful spot near the mouth of the Waikouaiti River is a popular retreat for Dunedin holidays and tourists.

Scope of the Project:

* Remove the existing deck of approximate size 4800 x 3900 to build a new conservatory.

* Install a decking extension of approximate size 2350 x 2800 at the back corner of the house to join the conservatory to the existing deck at the back of the house. Re-use the removed timber decking from the new conservatory location.

* Remove the existing pebble pad and install a 100-thick concrete walkway between the existing deck and the new entry door fence.

* Install a new entry door with mono-pitch roofing and fencing between the house and the storeroom at the entrance over a 100-thick concrete walkway. The approximate size of the mono-pitch roofing is 1500 x 3500. The roof starts from the new entry door to the outside. Install client-supplied cladding on both sides of the fence and install the client-supplied door as an entry door.

The client has ended up with a beautiful new conservatory in a delightful location, which takes advantage of its magnificent views across the adjacent farm looking towards Dunedin.
